  1. Hi John and Tracie,
I am Sean and Danie’s friend from CA. I got to meet you and your wonderful family this summer at their house.
I wasn’t aware you were adopting internationally! It is a wonderful thing and an amazing way that God puts our families together. We adopted our daughter from China in 2001. I just want you to know that my family and I will be praying for you as you go through the process. It is such a blessing.

  2. Tracie,
I’ve been reading your site. I’m glad you wrote your story because there was so much I never knew about ya’ll. All I ever hear of my cousins is through our moms and thats spotty info at best. It was neat to hear an outline of you and Johns path so far and it sounds like we have some things in common. I wish we lived closer but I have every hope we will all be on the same street in heaven and will have fellowship & get caught up then 🙂 Hope everything goes smoothly in court and you all will be home soon! Julie

  3. Tracie,
This is soo funny because I was googling adoptions at ihop trying to get some questions answered and I came across your blog and was getting excited reading, and thats when I came across your familys picture and you looked so familar, thats when I realized I ahd met you….I met you and your three beautiful children at the park that one evening when our children were having a crazy time spinning on those lil seats! haha…well I do have a question…we are in houston right now and we took some preliminary classes prior to doing our homestudy there and we feel like were going to be back in kansas city withen the next couple years, and I guess what I was wondering was, is it worth it to do our whole homestudy and everything in Texas, will it transfer easily to Kansascity when we leave??

  4. Tracie,
My deepest sympathy to you and John on the loss of John’s brother.
You are in my heart and prayers.

  5. Tracie and John,

Tracie, John might remember me from Wellsboro High School. I think I was one or two years behind him. I was in Derek’s class of 1990.

I’m trying to get in touch with someone regarding remembering Derek at our 20 year High School Reunion this coming May.

His memory (and all of the Loux family) left quite an impression on many of the young people of Wellsboro back in the early 90’s, and I know many people who would like to celebrate the Loux’s achievements over the past couple of decades, and find a way to support some of the future’s endeavors.

I hope to hear from someone soon.

  7. Hi,
I found your site through the RR yahoo group. We are a family in NE that is working towards a commitment to our own hoped for Little One. I was so thrilled when I saw your involvement with IHOP. We have a deep love for the ministry of IHOP and regularly tune into the prayer room. I would love to follow your blog, but I simply can’t find a “follow” button. Any help would be appreciated. We also have family in KC and head down that way at least once a year.

    Many blessings,
    Amy Peterson

  8. John and Tracie,
I am so glad that you told me about this blog today while I was taking care of Mattie. I know we just talked about being weepy today, but I seriously just cried looking at your page. You are AMAZING people. I am honored to know you, as cheesy as that sounds. I pray for you and your family every night, and I am so blessed to able to take care of Mattie. He honestly lights up my life and makes my day better. Have a great weekend, and I will see you next week.

  9. Dear John & Tracie,

I stumbled upon your site looking up art with scriptures on love, and all I can see on your site is love. : ) May God Bless you abundantly for the love you are pouring into all of your children. Matthias is very cute and so blessed to have been given wonderful Godly parents. I have a 12 year old (Tahlia), 2 yr old (Sascha) and a 8 month old (Elijah). We live in Perth, Western Australia, although my husband is originally from Kenya. Bless you heaps. Jodi Maina. x

  10. What a joy to read about two very special people and their family. I knew some of. The things you
We’re doing through your Mom and Dad Tracy, but not all about you. May God bless you and John as you carry on His work through caring for His special children. You are truly serving Him in a beautiful way. Would love to see you sometime. Must say Tracy, you are as beautiful as ever.
Praying God will bless you in all ways. Love from an old friend from New Covenent. James said
