Mattie’s Love Letters

I would like to thank each of you who have sent precious letters in for Mattie’s wall. He is truly surrounded in prayer! The Word of the Lord, prayers, and precious drawings surround him. It has been quite a testimony to the Love of Christ as the medical staff watch this wall of love grow. Mattie has received mail from all over the US, Canada, and even 2 from Poland! Thank you so much for your encouraging words and your prayers for our sweet boy.

We are still waiting a surgery date. We were told it could be as early as Wednesday, but that is very tentative due to the injured children being brought into Children’s Mercy from Joplin for care. (This affects Mattie because in order for him to have his surgery, there has to be a bedspace available in the PICU). As you pray for Mattie, please pray for the children who have been injured in Joplin, MO and for the many families that have lost loved ones.

  1. Started crying thinking of all the love and prayer surrounding little Mattie! Brings such happiness to know that he is loved so very much by sooo many. PRAYING for Joplin, the patients being transferred and Mattie’s surgery too.

My love to you all!!!! By the way those family photos- MELTED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Blessings on the children arriving from Joplin and that Mattie’s surgery will be scheduled in His timing. May those displaced children from Joplin find a new HOPE in KC and may God’s divine appointments happen. May God turn what was devastation into NEW LIFE. And may God heal Mattie.
