Written on His Heart

Once upon a time, far far away, a beautiful little boy was born. He took his first breath of life and all of heaven rejoiced. The Father looked down on this green eyed, blond haired wonder boy and dance over him with singing.  And then the Father wept. He wept because no one was there that day to embraced the beauty that He had created.

But because He is God and He is Love. He encircled that beautiful boy with His Spirit and hovered over him. Then with the stroke of His pen, He began to write a love story. Carefully He inscribed this child’s name upon His heart. And then He reached across time and space and began to write love into the hearts of a Momma and a Daddy who were still very far away, knowing that one day His Love would meet up with their love and this tiny little wonder boy would be loved by them forever.

Love grew. It grew and it grew. The Father wrote. He had a plan. He took out his pen and created the most beautiful line ever drawn. He connected heart to heart to heart, and He made a family.

  4. Beautiful Trac! The Lord’s love is amazing and He is so faithful to write the story with more love than could ever be imagined! I love Psalm 68:5 where it says, “A Father to the fatherless is God in his holy dwelling. He sets the lonely in families, He leads forth the captive in singing!!

  5. hmmm, can’t wait to hear more of this God written love story…after reading the *poop* and *puke* chapter, I know that this will be a story that really holds your attention. Let it be filled with all of God’s wonder and may the Love grow and grow and bloom, just as God has written it.

This story was great! I’m sitting here all teary-eyed thinking of my sweet boy. I am so thankful God had it in His plan to include our family in something so amazing! Adoption is truly beautiful!
