Our little wagon ride around the farm. We had the wagon all to ourselves. The view reminded me of Pennsylvania!

We were invited by Emma’s Dermatologist (and blessed with free tickets) to attend the annual fund raiser for The Jellybean Conspiracy. The Jellybean Conspiracy promotes acceptance of children and adults with special needs. Since we hadn’t attended this event before we decide just to take Taylor and Isabelle (Nick is out of town this weekend on a ministry trip).

We had a great evening enjoying time with two of our oldest kiddos!  Got teary eyed a bunch of times watching older kids with Down Syndrome serving, acting in the performances, and just interacting with their families.  The event was held at The Weston Red Barn Farm. Those of you in KC looking for a fun outing with the family, check it out! We plan to go back with the whole family sometime this fall. (It is about a 45 min drive from KC)

  1. Hi Tracy;

    What fun. And what good self control -in not crawling over those pumpkins!

    Glad you had sometime with your big kids…and that God was touching your hearts.
