We visited the kids this morning and had so much fun. It was a beautiful sunny day and we took them out. (Pictures later, sorry)

We go back at 4PM to have a good-bye party at the orphanage. Then bright and early Sunday morning, we’ll pack up our apartment and go discharge the kids from the orphanage.  We’ll drive to Kiev where we will be staying outside the city with Chris and Mary Malone who are at a great “retreat center” owned and run by wonderful Christian friends of theirs.

Monday morning we will go to get the children’s medical exams and go to the US Embassy to apply for their permanant US visas. Tuesday we will pick up their visas! WEDNESDAY WE WILL FLY HOME!!!! EARLY!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for praying. We’ll give another update once we get to Kiev and hopefully be able to post some photos.

  3. So happy for you guys! It’s been really amazing following your journey over the last several months and reading about the revelation you’ve been receiving of the Father’s heart in the process. Thanks so much for sharing and for allowing us to be a small part of it. Many blessings on you and much grace for this last leg of the trip!

  5. It’s neat how we have mutual friends, but I don’ t know you and John personally, but I (and my wife) are so excited for you. Our son turns 3 years old in April and our daugther is 4 months old. Just knowing the beauty of loving a child, I’m so very happy for you two bringing these tow blessing into your family. Children, though hard at times, are such a blessing from the Lord.

Praying the road ahead continues to be a joyous one!
