Our Baby Turned 2

Elia turned 2 on March 7th.  We flew in, came home, and celebrated her birthday that evening. We dragged out our celebration for a few days since we were so tired on Saturday night!

Elia is doing great. She has been a tiny bit clingy since our return home, but that is certainly understandable. She’s talking more, more beautiful than ever, and is just pure joy to be around. I am so grateful that Jesus saw fit to bless our family with this precious little girl. I have no words to accurately describe how blessed we are to call her our own.

It’s hard to imagine that it was just 2 years ago that we were in the intensive care unit falling in love with our tiny, blue-eyed bundle.

We love you Elia Jane! You are our joy and our delight.

  1. What a beautiful little girl. I remember seeing pictures when she was so tiny. Wish I could be a fly on the wall when you bring 2 more little ones home for her to play with. OK..I don’t want to be a fly on the wall…I want to be there in person:) I am sure it will be an awesome time. God is so good!!!!!

  2. Ohhh LiLi, I can’t wait to see you again. Aunt Tara can’t wait to love on you again….this time, minus the snot and ear infection. Yeah! We will have so much fun, the time will pass quickly.

  3. We finally have our computer back. We’ve been wanting to comment and tell you all how much we loved spending time with each of you. Silas keeps talking about We We! I’m so glad they got to bond. We’re praying through everything with you.
