Dreams and Visions

My daughter Isabelle is a dreamer. Her dreams have had an incredible impact on my life personally. I felt a few months ago that I wanted to make her a Dream Journal for her birthday. I bought all the supplies and time got away from me and I didn’t get it done. I’m now grateful for that.

The other day I got all of the materials out and sat down with Isabelle to help her design her own Dream Journal. We had a great time together and I think the colors, words, and images she chose are profound.

Here we are ready to go!

The finished product!

In case you can’t tell the words are sleep, remember, growing, satisfied, passion. Above the word DREAMS is the word door and under the word DREAM is a picture of an open door way in the middle of the forest.

So, my little dreamer, dream the dreams of heaven.

  1. Oooo! Paper crafting…one of my favorite pastimes. I love her journal. Such a great idea. I have a friend who has saved ALL her many prayer journals over the years. She told me that occasionally she looks thru them to see all that God has done for her.

  2. Great job, Isabelle! Oh, the dreams you will have, the people you will bless AND the places you will go!! (As Dr. Seuss would say –
    more or less!)

    Mrs. I. : )

P.S. Do the letters for DREAM glow in the dark?

  3. May the Lord speak to her in the night and may He also tell her the interpretation of the things He shows her, so she can use her gift for the furtherance of the Kingdom.
As a dreamer, I’d have you keep it by the bed, so many times I went back to sleep, only to awake and not be able to remember all of the details. A book pen light is key to the operation. Dream on.

    Cool, very cool.

  4. That is a way cool idea! You’re so creative and a great art teacher (I hear whenever we attempt art at our house đŸ˜‰ )

God fill that journal with your heart in the night!
