Hello and Welcome,
We are John and Tracie Loux, Intercessory Missionaries in Kansas City, MO at the International House of Prayer (IHOP). We invite you to share in our journey as we seek to serve the Lord through the ministry of night and day prayer. This blog serves as a journal of our everyday life and was created to help our family and friends stay connected to our lives in a tangible way.
John serves on a worship team at IHOP as an electric guitar player. He plays about 30 hours a week, which included his sets, rehearsals, and personal practice time. He spends an additional 20 hours a week in prayer/intercession. He has played guitar on several recording projects over the years and is currently working on his own project.
Tracie serves at IHOP in the Children’s Equipping Center (CEC). She serves as a teacher, and primarily works on writing curriculum for the 6-12 year olds. In addition to this role, she works part-time as an Adoption Consultant for Christian Adoption Consultants. You can learn more about her work with adoption on her Adoption Blog
If you would like to have us come to your church or ministry please contact us at tracieloux@ihop.org

Hi John and Tracie,
I am Sean and Danie’s friend from CA. I got to meet you and your wonderful family this summer at their house.
I wasn’t aware you were adopting internationally! It is a wonderful thing and an amazing way that God puts our families together. We adopted our daughter from China in 2001. I just want you to know that my family and I will be praying for you as you go through the process. It is such a blessing.
Congratulations!
Cathy Dreger
Tracie,
Hope everything goes smoothly in court and you all will be home soon! Julie
I’ve been reading your site. I’m glad you wrote your story because there was so much I never knew about ya’ll. All I ever hear of my cousins is through our moms and thats spotty info at best. It was neat to hear an outline of you and Johns path so far and it sounds like we have some things in common. I wish we lived closer but I have every hope we will all be on the same street in heaven and will have fellowship & get caught up then
