Tonight we got the kids bathed, had Emma and Aiden in bed, and were finishing getting Elia in her jammies when I hear John say, “Oh no Trac, come here!”

Good news we get to come home TODAY! They decided they would let the third tube test thing go.
Aiden has had his bath and is waiting on lunch, discharge papers and DADDY to come get us!
Aiden will be on three medications and has a follow up with the International Adoption Clinic to see the TB [...]

Well, we’re stuck here because of “mandatory protocol for TB” which requires three days in a row of those yucky “tube down the nose to the tummy to drag up some gunk” test. To which I say again, “Dagnabbit!!”

Aiden is Doing Well

Aiden is out of surgery and is doing well. He had his c-scan this morning and went to surgery around lunch time. He was back in his room at 2PM. Thanks so much for all your prayers.

They did not get everything in order so that Aiden could have his scan and surgical procedure (to extract lung fluid) today. That will happen first thing in the morning now. He is not thrilled one bit with being in the hospital. Try keeping a seemingly very healthy boy with an IV in his bed [...]
